About the Company
A cross-border payments business building onchain money movement infrastructure focused on emerging markets, specifically Africa. They work with financial institutions, remittance operators and platforms embedding cross-border payments into their products. Seed funded with a Series A imminent.
About the Role
They are looking for a Head of Sales to own the EMEA commercial engine. Not a territory, the engine: the live institutional book, the pipeline behind it, the pricing, the team and the playbook. You will run revenue end to end and report directly to the CEO.
This is a senior, hands on role. You will inherit live, revenue generating accounts and a small sales team, and your job is to grow both: deepen the accounts they have, originate the ones they do not, and build the commercial function that makes every deal faster than the last.
What You Will Own
· Own EMEA revenue end to end: originate, qualify, price, close and activate institutional partnerships across FIs, remittance operators and platforms
· Lead and grow the sales team: set targets, run the cadence, coach the team on live deals and hire as the business scales
· Grow existing accounts: expand wallet share with live partners across new corridors, higher volumes and better terms
· Own pricing and deal structure: work with the CEO on partnership terms, corridor pricing and the trade-offs between volume, margin and strategic value
· Build the playbook: qualification frameworks, deal stages, activation checklists and conversion tracking at every stage
· Work cross-functionally across compliance, engineering and treasury to connect the commercial conversation to operational delivery
What you they are looking for
· 6+ years in B2B fintech sales, payments or financial services including commercial leadership
· Track record of running full enterprise cycles, not just managing accounts
· Player-coach mentality, you have led a team and still carry the hardest conversations yourself
· Strong account expansion instincts alongside new logo origination
· Deep understanding of cross-border payments, FX mechanics and settlement infrastructure
· Bonus: existing relationships with European FIs, remittance operators or platforms, and exposure to African corridors or stablecoin settlement
