Privacy
Find Group Ltd, a company incorporated in England and Wales (Company Number 15878438), with its registered office at 18 Firsway, Wolverhampton WV6 8BJ, trading as “Find” (“Find Group”, “Find”, “we”, “us” or “our”), takes the privacy and security of personal data seriously. As a specialist recruitment and talent solutions business operating across the UK and international markets, we handle personal information as a core part of the services we provide, and we are fully committed to doing so responsibly and transparently.
This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how it is used, and the rights available to you.
1. Information We Collect
Website and Technical Data
When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain technical information about your device and browsing behaviour. This includes your IP address, browser type, operating system, and details of how you navigate our site. This data is gathered for system administration, security monitoring, and statistical analysis. It is not used on its own to identify any individual, but where you have also provided us with personal details — such as by registering or submitting an enquiry — we may associate that technical data with your profile.
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience on our website and to help us understand how our content is being used. You can find full details in our Cookie Policy. If you share a device with others, we recommend that you do not select any ‘remember me’ or ‘save my details’ options.
Recruitment and Candidate Data
As a recruitment business, we process personal data provided by candidates and clients in connection with employment and talent placement services. This may include CVs and work history, contact details, salary expectations, right-to-work documentation, and any other information you share with us during the recruitment process. We process this data to fulfil our obligations to both candidates and client organisations, and in some cases on the basis of legitimate interests or legal obligation.
2. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with the following categories of recipient, amongst others. This list is not exhaustive and we may engage additional partners from time to time, all of whom are required to handle your data in a manner consistent with this policy and applicable data protection law:
- Trusted third-party service providers: We engage third parties to support our operations — for example, technology providers, payroll processors, and background screening services. These parties act on our instructions and are required to handle your data securely and in accordance with applicable law.
- Recruit CRM: We use Recruit CRM as our candidate and client relationship management platform. Personal data you provide to us may be stored and managed within this system. Recruit CRM is bound by appropriate data processing obligations and your information remains under our control at all times.
- Client organisations: Where you are a candidate, we may share your information with prospective employers or hiring organisations, but only with your knowledge and in connection with a specific opportunity.
- Legal and regulatory obligations: We may disclose personal data where required by law, court order, or regulatory authority.
3. International Data Transfers
Find Group operates across international markets, and as such your personal data may be transferred to or processed in countries outside the United Kingdom. We will only carry out such transfers where adequate safeguards are in place, including reliance on the UK’s adequacy regulations, standard contractual clauses, or other recognised transfer mechanisms approved by the relevant authorities. In all cases, we take steps to ensure that your information continues to receive the same standard of protection as it would in the UK.
4. Data Security
We maintain appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against accidental loss, unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Access to personal data within our business is restricted to those with a genuine need to use it, and all staff handling personal information are subject to confidentiality obligations.
Please note that no method of transmitting data over the internet can be guaranteed as entirely secure. Whilst we take every reasonable precaution, any transmission of personal data to our website or to a third party is made at your own risk.
5. How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. For candidates, this typically means retaining information for a period following the conclusion of a recruitment process or the end of a placement, in order to meet our legal obligations and to contact you about future opportunities where you have consented to this. Clients’ contact data is retained in accordance with our contractual and business administration requirements. We will delete or anonymise data securely once the applicable retention period has expired.
6. Your Rights
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, along with information about how and why we process it.
- Right to rectification: If any information we hold about you is inaccurate or out of date, you can ask us to correct it.
- Right to erasure: In certain circumstances, you may request that we delete your personal data. We will consider each request carefully in light of our legal obligations, and where deletion is required, we will act promptly.
- Right to restrict processing: You may ask us to limit the way we use your personal data in certain situations, for example whilst a dispute about its accuracy is resolved.
- Right to data portability: Where processing is based on your consent or a contract, and carried out by automated means, you may request that your data be provided to you in a structured, commonly used format.
- Right to object: You have the right to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests, including for direct marketing purposes.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at: [email protected]
We will respond to all valid requests within one calendar month. Where your consent is the legal basis for our processing, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of any processing already carried out.
