Partnerships Associate

Reporting Line: CEO and Head of Network
Seniority Level: Early-career / Associate (individual contributor with a steep growth curve; strong performers go on to own corridors)
Location: London, 100% in-person, with willingness to travel
Experience Required: 1–4 years in fintech, consulting, investment banking, private equity, or a high-growth startup; exceptional graduates with demonstrated ownership and drive also considered

Summary:
This role sits at the centre of the company’s partner network: the banks, payout partners, and liquidity providers that move money across emerging markets from Africa to the Gulf to Asia. The Partnerships Associate helps scope, onboard, and manage those partners, working directly with the CEO and the Head of Network. Within the first few months, the role involves live partner negotiations, running onboarding processes that gate real money movement, and building the analysis that decides which corridors open next.

Responsibilities:

  • Launch new corridors: scope the market, research counterparties, model deal economics, and negotiate commercials

  • Run partner onboarding end to end: due diligence packs, KYB coordination, documentation, and integration tracking from first call to first live transaction

  • Track partner performance: rates, SLAs, capacity, and settlement timeliness across the live stack, spotting problems before they become incidents and escalating with evidence already assembled

  • Own the source of truth on pricing, status, terms, and contracts across every corridor, so negotiations and partner questions are backed by current data

  • Adapt to what each corridor needs, from resolving stuck integrations to travelling to new markets to build the partner stack from scratch

Requirements:

  • 1–4 years in fintech, consulting, IB, PE, or a high-growth startup, or an exceptional graduate with evidence of ownership and drive

  • Operationally relentless: able to run multiple threads without dropping any, spotting and fixing problems proactively

  • Numerate and analytical: comfortable in spreadsheets, instinctively sanity-checks figures, and can turn messy data into clear comparisons

  • Exceptional communicator: writes clearly, builds relationships quickly, and can represent the company externally with confidence

  • Thrives in ambiguity: comfortable structuring problems, building processes from scratch, and balancing multiple real-stakes priorities

  • Genuinely curious about emerging markets, payments infrastructure, and stablecoin rails

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Exposure to African markets

  • Familiarity with stablecoins or crypto infrastructure

  • A second language relevant to the company’s target corridors
