As the Standardisation & Process Manager, you will create the standard rulebook of our
global Payments Network that will be used as the guideline to operationalise the service. You will be responsible for aligning processes with that standard, ensuring consistency and efficiency across the different functions that support the network.
Key Responsibilities
• Create one internal, normalised framework for how the participants of the Network
operate.
• Develop and enforce standards and onboarding playbooks for new participants in
the Network.
• Monitor network changes to adequate the rulebook and processes.
• Analyse, design, implement, and optimise processes across the different teams in
the Department – onboarding of new partners, management of the Network, implementation of new services. Including the implementation of new tools or the enhancement of existing ones.
• Enable adoption of employees to new workflows through training and communication.
Skills and Abilities
• Proven track record of driving operational efficiencies and process redesign in
a payments environment.
• Ability to take a data-driven approach: identify root causes, measure, and keep track of
them during the transformation.
• Excellent communication and change-management skills.
• Fluent in English; Spanish likely preferred given your Madrid base; other languages a
plus for global remit.
Desirable
• Deep understanding of international payments flows, settlement systems, partner
rails (ACH, Instant Payment Rails, RTGS, etc) and corresponding operational models.
• Experience in fintech / multi-region payments environment
